1. Purchase a SHRED-Pack

We provide our Eco-SHRED Sacks for you to store your personal and confidential paperwork. The sacks are approximately two feet high and 35 litres in volume which is about ¾ the size of a normal black bin liner.

We have a small, medium or large size of SHRED-Pack to choose from to match the volume of paper that requires shredding.

Once you have decided which Pack size is most appropriate to the volume of paper that requires shredding, simply click on ‘Order my Pack’ and you will be able to purchase securely online. The prices are £6.99, £12.99 & £18.99 for the 2,5 and 10 Pack respectively.

2 Pack
Our introductory sized 2pack is ideal for smaller volumes of confidential paper such as having an annual clearout at home of old bank statements and utility bills and the like. Or perhaps you have recently changed jobs and have employment documents to shred… the 2Pack gets you started!

5 Pack
Our medium sized 5Pack is our most popular Pack size and has many uses such as when you are having a thorough clear out of domestic paperwork, or perhaps you run a small business from home and need to shred some work documents. Or you work in a small office and need to shred the archives… the 5Pack is a useful size!

The 10Pack is excellent value and caters for when you have a larger volume of paper to shred.  Perhaps you are in the process of moving house or have recently retired and have lots of files and paperwork to securely dispose of? Or you work in an office and need to shred a large volume of documents that are over the 7 year period…the 10Pack gets it done!

2. Bag up your confidential paper

Unlike conventional plastic sacks that are secured with a separate cable tie, our strong, tear-free sacks are made from paper and are self sealing.

Fill the Eco-SHRED Sacks with your confidential paper, when the sack is filled to the top line you simply peel off the tab, fold over the top of the sack and seal the contents safe inside.

Please note, as well as normal printed paper, you can also put the following in the Eco-SHRED:

Envelopes including windows – staples – paper clips – manila folders – card – newspaper – magazines – junk mail.

We kindly request that you DO NOT put Lever arch files in your sacks as the metal reduces the life of our industrial shredding blades.

 

3. Book and purchase your Collection

We don’t impose any time limit for you to fill the sacks. When you have completed bagging up your confidential paper and have sealed the sacks you simply click on ‘book my collection’. Input your postcode and the system will tell you which day of the week we cover your area and you will be prompted to choose an upcoming date of collection of your choice to suit your convenience.

Collections are made within the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by either a HomeShredUK van and driver or one of our shredding partners.

Upon booking your collection you will be prompted to pay the collection charge of £29.99, £39.99 or £49.99 for the 2, 5 and 10Pack respectively.

Once the payment is complete you will receive an email confirmation that your collection has been scheduled.

2 Pack Collection
The HomeShred-2Pack includes a single collection and shredding of 1-2 sacks.

Security
Upon collecting your sacks we shred the contents strictly within a 24hr period at a secure CCTV managed shredding facility. We issue a Certificate of Destruction via email upon completion.
